James Ervin Blaylock, 65, was born July 22, 1954 in Amarillo, TX to Ervin Lee and Jo Ann Blaylock. He was joined in marriage on October 23, 2010 to Debra Kay. He passed away on March 23, 2020.  James had many hobbies that he loved to share with his family. He loved to ride his Harley and drive his Corvette. You would often see him fishing or playing football with his grandsons, and he enjoyed playing with his dog Bear. He enjoyed joking around with his Aunt Mary and cousin Wanda.

James is survived by his wife Debra; children Jimmy Blaylock, Samantha Wheeler and husband Bronn, David Smith and wife Johni-Rae; grandchildren Brody James Blaylock, David Alexander Smith, and Bella Rose Wheeler; mother Jo Ann Williams; Brother Donald Blaylock and wife Oleta; and numerous aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

James is preceded in death by his father Ervin Blaylock and both Grandmothers and Grandfathers.
