Connie Kinsey Powell, 66, of Amarillo, TX entered the arms of Jesus on Monday, October 11, 2021.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 15, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dean Whaley officiating. Burial will follow the service at 4:00 P.M., Friday, October 15, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery at Vega. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Connie was born November 29, 1954, in Amarillo, TX to Marion and Jessie Kinsey. She graduated from Amarillo High School. Connie was a certified dietary manager and worked for Swisher Memorial Hospital in Tulia until her retirement.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughter’s of the Nile. Connie loved to cook, sew, travel, and host family gatherings.

Connie was a loving and caring daughter, sister, mother, and Mamo. She gave her all to her family every day. She loved ducks and had tried to keep her “ducklings” in line. Connie had a heart of gold and was loved by everyone who knew her.

Survivors include her daughters, Joli Ariola and husband Matt, and Jaclyn Myers and husband Jason, all of Amarillo, TX; a son, Chock Grady, of Colorado Springs, CO; her parents, Marion and Jessie Kinsey, of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Debbie Stern and husband Dean, of Cape Coral, FL; five grandchildren, Alexa Curry, Dylan Ariola, Cade Ariola, Lily Myers, and Quinton Myers; niece, Alicia Moen, of Japan; and one great-grandchild on-the-way, who she was so excited to meet.
