Tony was born in Wichita Falls, TX on February 22, 1955 to Lawrence Robert and Yphone Walker LaRoche. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1973. He was working for Gilvin-Terrill as a construction worker at the time of his death.

He was killed when his pickup ran off the road and struck a large tree.
