FLOYDADA-Patricia Kay Probasco, age 61, of Floydada went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 25, 2016. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Floydada with Brother Tim Franks and Brother Stephen Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the Floyd County Memorial Park of Floydada. Arrangements are under the care of Moore Rose Funeral Home.

Patty was born in Amarillo, Texas, on Nov. 24, 1954, to John and Juanita Welch. She married the love of her life, Mitch Probasco on Feb. 7, 1992. Patty was an incredible role model not only to her family, but also to her community. She loved her church, First Baptist Church of Floydada, especially her Sunday school class and all of the wonderful ladies in it. Patty loved to cook and she had a gift for decorating. She also enjoyed woodworking and quilting.

Patty is survived by her husband, Mitch; her sister, Janet Welch of Mesquite, Texas; daughter, Lyndi Hopper and husband, RN of Petersburg; son, Jordan Chaparro of King George, VA, son, John Daniel Chaparro of San Diego, CA; and daughter, Andi Moore and husband, Randy of Post. Patty also leaves behind four grandchildren, Tucker Kidd, Alice Hopper, Carson Hopper, and Charli Moore. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Area Community Hospice of Plainview.
