DUMAS - Russell Wiswell, 53, died Friday, May 26, 2006.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Tubbs, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.

Mr. Wiswell was born April 16, 1953, in Liberal, Kan., to Carl and Evelyn Neill Wiswell. He was a graduate of Amarillo High School.

He married Jackie Nichols on June 16, 1972, in Amarillo. Mr. Wiswell lived in Dumas for the past 21 years where he had a CPA private practice. He was a longtime member of the Dumas Noon Lions Club and served as treasurer for numerous civic organizations. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John Leslie "J.L" Wiswell II of Dumas;three sisters, Linda Wyseloff of Plainview, Deborah Napier of Vero Beach, Fla., and Madelyn McKinney of Amarillo; and a brother, Bruce Wiswell of McKinney.

The family suggests memorials be to the Building Fund, Dumas Noon Lions Club, P.O. Box, Dumas, TX 79029.
